Point Reyes – 15 August

Jules had some work to do in Inverness, close to Point Reyes. There is a nature reserve with a light house. Quite a nice drive too. So we tagged along for the day.

Californian coastline is LONG – Not all brown & green – Impressive cliffs at the lighthouse

You are warned about the 308 steps before walking down. I assure you they aren’t very high. I guess some people are just not able to walk 308 steps in a row :) – My mom at the lighthouse.

Our lunch spot in Point Reyes Station – The local notice board, which I quite like – The Old Western Hotel where we had a drink with Jules after work. Prince Charls of England visited here before. Following in the steps of royalty :)

What passes for grafiti here. How true though? – Jules’ “office” for the day. The family that owns this building wanted to remove the Russian style balls on the roof, but because it has become such a landmark of the area the community protested this and were able to stop the “remodelling.” – Mmmm…. Jules’ Lexus IS250…yes please :)
